Supervisor, Quality Assurance

Position Summary:


We're seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Supervisor to lead our AR Recovery audit team. This role is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process across multiple FinThrive-supported projects, ensuring that audits are executed with precision and that feedback loops drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital revenue cycle operations and a passion for coaching and compliance.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Supervise and support a team of Quality Auditors focused on billing, follow-up, denials, and payment posting
  • Review audit findings and ensure timely resolution of flagged errors
  • Monitor team adherence to ARO platform workflows and FinThrive SOPs
  • Collaborate with project leads and operational supervisors to align audit priorities with business goals
  • Deliver coaching and performance feedback to auditors based on audit outcomes
  • Identify recurring issues and lead initiatives to address process gaps
  • Stay current on payer guidelines, billing regulations, and platform updates
  • Recommend and implement training programs based on audit trends


Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience in hospital revenue cycle operations
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in quality assurance or auditing
  • Deep understanding of medical billing, EOBs, CARC/RARC codes, and payer denial reasons
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and familiarity with Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience managing audits within the ARO platform or similar systems within the revenue cycle space
  • Proven track record of driving quality improvements and team development
