Manufacturing Engineering Technician - Onsite

Reports To: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Join API Heat Transfer and help shape the future of thermal technology. We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support our production operations and drive process improvements across our heat exchanger manufacturing lines.

As a key member of our engineering team, you'll:

• Assist in designing and implementing process improvements to boost efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment including fin machines, stackers, welders, and assembly tools.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Support equipment installations, modifications, and validations.
• Document process changes, equipment settings, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to support lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Contribute to quality assurance by identifying root causes of defects and implementing corrective actions.
• Train operators and maintenance staff on new processes and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, tooling, and industrial automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stand, walk, and work in a production environment for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment.
