Description
The Account Representative, BJ's Warehouse Club will perform specific tactical sales tasks through cross-functional management of multiple internal departments including warehouse, procurement, marketing, shoppers marketing, and sales. Manage specific job functions and responsibilities associated with club activity that includes inventory, item management, and order processing.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assist the National Account Manager in the day-to-day management of a key sales account.
- Act as a customer liaison - communicate effectively with the customer through written and verbal communication to ensure outstanding service.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer expectations and deliver on key responsibilities.
- Quickly assess outstanding items, determine next steps, and "own the process" through execution.
- Promptly and proactively manage tasks, including item setup, order processing, and promotion planning and execution.
- Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Available to travel as needed several times per year.
- Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required.
- Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, flexible, and efficient.
- Must be focused on continuous improvement and be self-motivated.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication in person, on the phone and via email.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to create and write reports.
- Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving.
- Employee must be able to use common sense to solve problems and improve existing processes.
- The work performed is in an office environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.
Salary: $46,000.00 - $62,000.00
