Position Title: Family Peer Advocate, Allyship Services
Department: Community Engagement
Reports to: Program Manager (Allyship Services)
Location: Hybrid-Flex
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Saturdays as needed
Hourly Pay: $29.23 - $32.97
Travel: Field work required in all NYC boroughs

Position Overview:
Join a mission-driven team dedicated to creating safe, affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth and their families across NYC. As a Family Peer Advocate, Allyship Services you'll use your lived experience and relationship-building skills to guide families through youth-serving systems, connect them with meaningful resources, and support their overall well-being. In this role, you'll facilitate support groups, conduct community outreach, organize family-centered activities, and collaborate with Vibrant's programs to strengthen mental health support citywide. You'll be a trusted partner to families and a vital advocate in communities that have historically been hard to reach. .
