Job Description	The ECU Department of Criminal Justice is seeking an Undergraduate Research Assistant to support the Gambling Research and Policy Initiative ( GRPI) under the direction of Dr. Michelle L. Malkin. Responsibilities include data collection, transcription, coding, and online research across the following focus areas: Emerging Adults and College Students Gambling Research: Conduct background research, literature reviews, and assist with poster development for conference submissions. Gambling among Low SES Individuals Data Collection: Support event planning, logistics, and data collection. Telehealth Evaluation: Assist with data cleaning and background research. Casino VSE and Incident Research: Assist with data cleaning, background research, and team collaboration. Conference Participation: Travel and present research papers and posters (contingent on acceptance). Additional Duties: As assigned.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)	Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled at East Carolina University. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Strong Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook).
