The Business Manager oversees financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth for the Cancer Center and Oncology Clinic Business Operations within Mercyhealth. This role ensures high-quality care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and alignment with organizational goals and values.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).

  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare or clinic management.

  • Strong financial, analytical, and leadership skills.

  • Proven ability to improve operational performance and implement strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor monthly clinic financials, budgets, and FTE allocations to ensure fiscal responsibility.

  • Develop and implement processes to improve revenue, charge capture, and workflow efficiency.

  • Partner with leadership to design and execute strategic business plans and new program initiatives.

  • Lead procurement efforts for capital and minor equipment and resolve related operational issues.

  • Supervise assigned staff (social work, dietitian, cancer registry, and co-supervision of genetics).

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance programs.

  • Collaborate with marketing and PR to promote programs and services.
