Salesforce Data Architect

Cherokee Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Data Architect to join our team. The Salesforce Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and high-performance data solutions within the Salesforce platform. This role requires deep knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, strong technical skills, and expertise in data modeling and management.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Salesforce Data Architect: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Salesforce Data Architect Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to gather requirements and define data architecture and design solutions.

  • Design and implement scalable, efficient, and high-performance data models and structures within the Salesforce platform.

  • Lead and manage Salesforce data teams in efforts such as data migration, transformation, data lake implementation/support, as well as operation and maintenance.

  • Define and enforce data governance, data quality, and data integration standards and best practices within the Salesforce environment.

  • Perform data analysis, profiling, and modeling to identify data requirements, dependencies, and relationships.

  • Ensure data security and compliance by implementing appropriate access controls and data protection measures.

  • Drive data integration efforts between Salesforce and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across applications.

  • Collaborate with technology partners, stakeholders, team members, and senior levels of management to articulate the benefits and constraints of Salesforce technology solutions.

  • Stay updated on Salesforce data architecture best practices, new features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for data architecture enhancements.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Salesforce Data Architect Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

    • Preferred public sector experience or multiple Salesforce project implementation experience

    • Strong expertise in Salesforce data architecture and data management, with deep knowledge of Salesforce data models, schemas, and data integration patterns.

    • Experience briefing the benefits and constraints of Salesforce technology solutions to technology partners, stakeholders, team members, and senior levels of management.

    • Proficiency in data analysis, profiling, and modeling tools and techniques.

    • Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices, including data quality, data security, and compliance.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and design efficient solutions.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer, ) are preferred.

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, is desirable.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Salesforce Certified Data Architect and Management Designer (preferred).

  • Shall have a minimum of sixteen (16) years of general work experience.

  • Shall have three (3) years of experience leading Salesforce data teams in efforts such as data migration, transformation, data lake implementation/support, as well as operation and maintenance.

  • Shall have at least five (5) years of proven expertise in Relational and Dimensional Data Modeling.

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security Clearance

  • US. Citizenship is required

  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
