MuleSoft Developer

The MuleSoft Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing integration solutions while ensuring compliance with established development standards, security, and governance requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for MuleSoft Developer: Pay commensurate with experience.

MuleSoft DeveloperResponsibilities Include:

  • Participate in the full integration lifecycle from technical design to development, unit testing, security testing, automation testing, and deployment using MuleSoft and related tools.
    *Develop code in accordance with established development standards and ensure quality through testing practices.
    *Provide expert-level guidance on the implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization of Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
    *Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions, advising stakeholders on leading practices, capabilities, limitations, and potential third-party tools.
    *Perform system evaluations and gap analyses to recommend optimal configurations and data models.
    *Support Agile development teams with detailed knowledge of the Salesforce and MuleSoft development lifecycle (DevOps, sandbox strategy, CI/CD, etc.).
    *Interact directly with customers, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of integration solutions.
    *Develop proofs of concept (POCs), integrating new components with back-office systems to evaluate products and strategies.
    *Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration-related defects throughout development and deployment.
    *Produce integration-related documentation, including functional and technical design documents.
    *Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
    *Coordinate with clients, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic business outcomes.

MuleSoft Developer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of general work experience.
    *3-5+ years of MuleSoft development experience across at least 2 enterprise projects.
    *MuleSoft Developer certification (Mule 4) required.
  • Preferred public sector experience or multiple Salesforce project implementation experience.
    *Strong integration development experience on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (versions 3.x and 4.x, preferably 4+).
    *Proven experience designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML, REST-based APIs, and SOAP APIs.
    *Experience with MuleSoft On-Premise and cloud environments.
    *Deep understanding of the API lifecycle and involvement across all stages.
    *Hands-on experience implementing certificate-based security for Mule applications.
    *Familiarity with API governance strategy within an organization using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
    *Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, WS-*, SOA integration, and API management technologies and standards.
    *Professional services or consulting experience, ideally within the Public Sector.
    *Experience using MuleSoft to develop integrations with out-of-the-box connectors and point-to-point integrations.
    *Experience working in Agile environments.
