Under supervision of the Facilities Superintendent, the Lead Systems Operator will perform full range of journey level, skilled controls work. Install, modify, maintain, repair, overhaul and perform preventative maintenance on control systems installed at all Recreation facilities including: Johnson Control Systems (Metasys); pneumatic control instrumentation including sensors. Perform diagnostic tests on digital systems for building systems and fabricate electronic parts. Perform skilled duties in the operation, maintenance and alteration/repair of HVAC controls and mechanics, sub-systems and accessories. Respond to trouble calls. Inspect buildings, facilities, and components to ascertain required repairs. Troubleshoot, repair and/or renovate buildings systems, facilities, and utilities leading to the buildings. Provide instruction to others to carry out tasks. Communicate work-order revisions, material delays or other problems to supervisor. Coordinate services with campus customers, vendors, and third party companies and assist with questions regarding work performed. Provide expeditious, professional and courteous customer service. As the working lead, assist with coordinating and scheduling building systems work, provide instruction and training to additional employees and oversee for quality control and timely completion. May be assigned supervisory tasks that deal more on providing input in the absence of superintendent. QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $112,000 - $112,000 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $53.64 - $53.64 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
