Description General Program Information and Position Overview The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tactical Data Link (TDL) Analyst to join our team at the Langley, VA, customer office. In this exciting opportunity, you will provide critical support to the ACC/A5JI JINTACCS mission by helping shape the future of USAF tactical combat system information exchange requirements (IERs). As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will lead research and engineering efforts, proposing changes to TDL Military Standards (MIL-STDs) while minimizing the impact on existing systems. This role is essential for ensuring the interoperability and effectiveness of tactical data links for the U.S. Air Force. Primary Responsibilities Research, engineer, and propose updates to TDL Military Standards (MIL-STDs) based on U.S. Air Force (USAF) tactical combat system information exchange requirements (IERs).
Represent the USAF at TDL meetings and working groups.
Assess interoperability test trouble reports to determine the severity of deficiencies and affected systems.
