Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in account management.
  • 2 years of experience with corrections/criminal justice system with solid knowledge of the corrections industry.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of Company products and services
  • Conflict management skills, including problem/issue determination and resolution.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external contacts at all levels.

Responsibilities

Summary

Responsible for the supervision of Account Executives supporting assigned sales territories and Account Managers supporting large State or County level electronic monitoring (EM) accounts, within an assigned Region. Provides assistance to the National Account Manager with the project planning, coordination, and execution of new account implementations and existing account transitions to new hardware and/or software, in conjunction with Account Executives. Provides assistance to the Federal Program Manager with presentations, trainings, and new product demonstrations or implementations, as requested.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervises Account Executives supporting assigned sales territories and Account Managers supporting large State or County level electronic monitoring (EM) accounts. Maintains close communication to assess performance and provide appropriate training, mentoring, and direction regarding account management functions to achieve Company objectives for customer satisfaction and revenue growth and retention.
  • Maintains frequent communication with Account Executives and Managers regarding assigned account management and technical support, to include training, overall program health and performance, subcontracting installer performance and needs, and identification of areas requiring additional follow-up and support. Monitors and reports to the National Account Manager on the status, and ensures follow through on problem areas.
  • Assists the National Account Manager and Sales team, as directed, with the project planning, and implementation of new electronic monitoring programs, or changes to on-going systems to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of products and services to meet contractual obligations and Company revenue projections.
  • Assists the Federal Program Manager, as requested, with new product demonstrations, trainings, and implementations, to ensure the successful completion resulting in selection and orders.
  • Communicates regularly with the National Account Manager, Manufacturing, Marketing, Engineering, and Product and Software Development teams to keep abreast on product revisions and changes, and to provide product performance feedback. Communicates new product information to the Account Support Representatives as necessary
  • Utilizes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to document account contacts and assist in collection and maintenance of market share data in assigned accounts.
  • Oversees billing-related administrative issues and price correction work, as well as the maintenance and improvement of DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) for the assigned State level accounts, in conjunction with Account Representative and Accounts Receivable.
  • Attends and represents the Company at national and local trade shows and events as necessary to promote Company products, services and programs.
  • Assists with EM troubleshooting, training, refresher training and new office implementations for ISAP program as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
