WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

FULL SUMMARY

The Heavy Rents Return 2 Ready Specialist is responsible for inspecting and repairing the rental fleet according to Western States' standards in order to meet or exceed the client's needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to TA-1 inspections, advanced level diagnosis, minor repair and maintenance on Heavy Rents rental fleet with an extreme focus on fleet Return to Ready status. Assists in the organization of Heavy Rents inventory, check out inspections, monitoring the Heavy Rents Call Off List and Dashboard to prioritize work load. Must be able to manage time and priorities to cover a large territory to include significant road time and nights out of town.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Ability to navigate Microsoft products.
  • Experience with specialty tooling.
  • Ability to obtain job related certifications for any specialty equipment including but not limited to forklifts, rigging, and overhead cranes.
  • Knowledge of Service Information Systems, Vision Link, AX and division specific applications.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with teammates and clients.
  • Consistent attendance with the ability to work overtime and travel, as needed.
  • Working within and promoting Western States' purpose, vision and values.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Associates degree in diesel technology or trade school diploma preferred.
  • Minimum of four years industry experience required. (i.e. Rental fleet, Mobile, and Allied equipment)
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Appropriate technician level tooling required.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).
