Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workforce Management Systems Manager with a deep understanding of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) solutions to lead the strategic oversight, optimization, and support of workforce management systems across our healthcare organization. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of efficient, compliant, and data-driven staffing processes that directly support patient care operations.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in healthcare workforce operations, deep expertise in UKG (Dimensions, Workforce Central, or Ready), and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a complex, multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Work under the direction of Enterprise IT Director as joint system owner and subject matter expert for the UKG Workforce Management Suite, ensuring optimal system performance and alignment with healthcare workforce needs.
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing support of UKG WFM modules (Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, Analytics, etc.).
  • Collaborate with HR, Nursing, Clinical Operations, Payroll, and IT to design and support efficient scheduling, staffing, and timekeeping processes.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare labor regulations, union agreements, credentialing requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Analyze staffing data and workforce trends to support operational decisions and improve cost efficiency and clinical coverage.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, manage escalations, and coordinate with UKG support for resolution.
  • Develop and deliver user training, documentation, and onboarding materials to ensure system adoption and consistency.
  • Manage interfaces and integrations between UKG and other systems such as HRIS, payroll, credentialing, ERP, and EHR systems (e.g., Workday, Lawson, Oracle, Epic).
  • Monitor data integrity and audit system usage to ensure accuracy in time reporting, scheduling, and labor distribution.
  • Lead and support WFM-related projects across hospital units and outpatient facilities, including process improvement and change management initiatives.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in financial systems, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of experience with computer systems and applications.
  • 5+ years of experience planning/managing projects.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in workforce management or FINSYS/HRIS roles, with experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with UKG systems (Dimensions, Workforce Central, or Ready), including configuration and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare scheduling practices, clinical staffing models, and compliance requirements preferred (e.g., CMS, Joint Commission, union rules).
  • Excellent data analysis skills, including familiarity with UKG Analytics or similar BI tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • UKG Pro or UKG Dimensions certification(s)
  • Experience with UKG advanced scheduling or demand-based scheduling in healthcare
  • Experience with Workday ERP HCM/Payroll is preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare credentialing systems and staffing compliance tools
  • Experience with system integrations using APIs or middleware platforms
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies

Salary Range: Minimum $53.55/visit - Maximum $93.74/visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
