That includes creating robust designs and frameworks that work well in the cloud, helping to modernize and migrate our suite of products, and providing training and assistance to other teams. Don't worry if you don't know everything about AWS development: we will augment your existing skills by providing additional training and assistance as needed. Responsibilities Build out applications and infrastructure for the Tyler suite of products Participate in both agile and waterfall development environments, assist in sprint definitions/reviews as needed Collaborate with product teams to bring tangible results to market Aid Technical Support and other departments for deployment and run-time issues as needed Contribute to the vision, concept, planning, architecture, design, usability, API, and documentation of Tyler products Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes Contribute to cloud migration efforts Facilitate code reviews Assist with designing and implementing frameworks, micro-services, and general components for use by front-line Tyler products Develop and extend core features for existing infrastructure micro-services Work with our innovative software solutions that help local government and school districts centralize data and connect their organizations. By working to develop and support our financial management solutions, you can help integrate our solutions with human resources, revenue management, tax billing, and asset management. Location Falmouth, Maine \| Yarmouth, Maine \| Orono, Maine Travel 0-5% Qualifications BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience Ability to learn quickly and juggle multiple tasks Ability to deliver within a deadline and prioritize work Self motivated, exhibiting a high level of ownership Ability to collaborate with software engineers, product managers and other cross-functional teams Proficiency in C# (.NET 6+) Experience with HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and a front-end framework like Angular Experience SQL and Relational Databases Experience with Linux, Git, and Docker Strong RESTful API knowledge Experience with the test-driven development Other Beneficial Skills and Knowledge Experience with cloud services such as: NoSQL databases Document storage services Message queues Notification services Experience with Terraform Experience with automated testing, load testing, and CI/CD Experience with LocalStack AWS Experience and Certifications How We Act We value big ideas and creative execution.
