The Sr. Manager of Church Partnership will provide cross-functional coordination to ensure deep engagement with faith partnership in order to drive collaborative service, volunteer engagement, LSS awareness, and philanthropic partnership. The Sr. Manager will serve as subject matter expert for engagement with faith partners and collaborate with service leaders to facilitate the best approach to each faith community's interests and needs.



  • Incumbent will manage the Church Partnership Specialist.


JOB SUMMARY:



  • Provide cross-functional coordination to ensure deep engagement with faith partners, driving collaborative service, volunteer engagement, LSS brand awareness, and philanthropic lead identification
  • Lead the Church Partnerships Team
  • Serve as subject matter expert on LSS engagement with faith partners, including awareness of donors, volunteers, and leaders in congregations and how their relationships can facilitate deep partnership
  • Work in collaboration with LSS Lines of Services, Volunteerism, Community Engagement, Events, and Philanthropy teams to facilitate the best approach to each faith community's interests and needs.


Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Church Engagement, Communications, or Project Management
  • Experience with "friendraising," marketing, communications, and volunteerism preferred
  • Knowledge of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in Minnesota strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, public relations, and public speaking skills required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, with occasional nights and weekends
  • Valid driver's license
