DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will greet and service customers, confirm applicant identities, complete application forms, and ensure accurate information is entered into the online driver license application system. You will also administer standardized knowledge tests, screen vision using a tele-binocular instrument, and evaluate applicant knowledge of motor vehicle codes, driving laws, and associated traffic control devices. This role requires solid analytical skills and a strict adherence to regulations to examine identity documents to help combat identity theft and fraud. In addition, you will answer questions, respond to concerns, document fee waivers, and process CDL license renewals, out of state transfers, and REAL-ID products. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Irregular Schedule: You will work overtime and travel to other Driver License Centers when needed.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
