A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Grade: Professional 311 Pay Range: $97,100.00 - $145,600.00Job Description Job Description SummaryThe Content Marketing Manager is a key member of the WGU Labs Marketing and Communications team, responsible for developing and executing content strategies that elevate the organization's reputation, amplify thought leadership, and support research and product initiatives across the organization. This role requires a skilled writer, editor, and strategist with deep familiarity with the postsecondary and workforce learning landscape. The ideal candidate can translate complex ideas-particularly research findings and technical product concepts-into compelling, accessible narratives that resonate across digital channels and diverse audiences. They will have a strong instinct for timely, strategic content that drives engagement, earns media attention, and reinforces WGU Labs' role in national conversations. This position owns the strategy and execution of WGU Labs' website, content marketing, and campaign assets, ensuring that all digital touchpoints are aligned, impactful, and optimized to support brand visibility and business goals. The Content Marketing Manager also serves as a thought partner to researchers and product teams, helping shape and refine insights into clear, actionable content that advances the field and contributes to Labs' growing influence. Experience in lieu of education Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager.
