Tax Senior Manager

Location: Solana Beach, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced tax leader who's excited about building long-term client relationships and helping shape the future of our Solana Beach tax practice. As a Senior Manager, you'll step into a key leadership position where you'll work closely with a strong book of clients, guide highquality tax work, and play an important part in growing and strengthening the team. We're looking for someone who enjoys being a trusted advisor and is ready to take on a role with real impact and room to grow.

Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Tax Senior Manager in Solana Beach may include:

• Preparing and reviewing complex individual (1040), fiduciary, partnership, Scorp, and multientity tax returns with significant investment, K1, real estate, and multigenerational family activity.
• Evaluating the client's full tax landscape-individual, trust, partnerships, and family entities-to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Performing technical research on individual, trust, partnership, estate, and related planning matters.
• Serving as a primary relationship lead for sophisticated, multientity and multigenerational client groups, building longterm advisory relationships rooted in proactive planning and continuity.
• Participating in client meetings and planning discussions involving real estate partnerships, investment portfolios, estate considerations, and business ventures.
• Collaborating closely with Senior Managers, Managers, and staff to ensure highquality, timely work aligned with firm processes.
• Guiding staff through complex tax issues and helping them build strong communication skills, ownership, and a client first mindset.
• Supporting business development by identifying prospective clients, preparing proposals, and representing the firm at events.

Who You Are

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• You have an active CPA license.
• You bring 7+ years of public accounting tax experience with broad exposure across individual, partnership, and fiduciary returns.
• You have experience with - or willingness to deepen skills in - real estate partnerships, multientity groups, and multigenerational family structures.
• You take pride in building strong client relationships and are committed to delivering exceptional client service.
• You bring strong communication skills that foster trust and collaboration with colleagues, clients, and partners at every level.
• You enjoy leading, mentoring, and helping others grow.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and bring a strong sense of ownership and initiative.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Compensation: $175,000 - $210,000

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
