| Our Midwest Water Civil/Hydrodynamics Department has a full-time opening for an experienced professional to manage our staff and projects.  Responsibilities include: 
 Leading wastewater and stormwater collection system evaluation, planning, and design projects, tasks, and teams to solve municipal collection system problems related to combined and sanitary sewer overflows, flooding, collection system aging, and water quality Ensuring deliverables satisfy client requirements and meet quality expectationsPerforming technical work, writing, and giving presentations Coordinating workload needs with department staff and other managersCoaching and supporting staff development and goals achievementMonitoring and addressing staff performanceReviewing and approving employee timesheets and expensesCoordinating with the Department Manager to prepare proposals to acquire contracts and manage those contractsReviewing and approving budgets for projectsMonitoring project performance and profitabilityMaintaining relationships with clients Some travel will be required. The successful candidate will have one of the following: 
 Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, environmental, or related engineering degree plus three (3) years of relevant collection system analysis or design experience in the consulting business --OR-- 
 Associate degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering degree plus five (5) years of relevant collection system analysis or design experience in the consulting business --OR--  
 If no degree, at least seven(7) years of relevant collection system analysis or design experience in the consulting business The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:  
 At least eight (8) years of relevant work experienceAt least six (6) months of experience supervising staffAt least one (1) year of formal project management experience, including successful control of project scopes, schedules, and budgetsPE license in any state with the ability to obtain in Wisconsin and/or Illinois within 12 months of hireProficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D AND/OR hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software such as PCSWMM, EPASWMM, ICM InfoWorks, or similarDemonstrated history of creating technically supported and professionally presented client deliverables, both individually and when leading a teamA commitment to team psychological safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementAbility to think critically and thoroughlyClient management including preparing proposals for municipal related projects If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers.
