Who We Are: ESCO Maritime Solutions is a world leader in Signature Management and Power Conversion solutions for the US and UK naval defense market. Our solutions enable critical mission system capabilities and increase naval stealth on submarine and surface ship platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments
- Lead integration and testing of hardware within naval systems, evaluating performance, functionality, and system impact
- Plan and support qualification, acceptance, and environmental testing, including coordination with external laboratories
- Review production and test data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual and technical requirements
- Prepare, review, and submit CDRLs and SDRLs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)
- Create, control, and revise ILS and technical documentation in accordance with contract requirements and configuration management processes
- Interface with customers and subcontractors to track data item deliverables, resolve comments, and support program milestones
- Support failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action documentation as required
- Prepare and deliver technical briefings; support formal program reviews including PDRs, CDRs, and TRRs
- Track and report status of test activities, documentation, and deliverables to ensure schedule and program compliance
- Travel up to 10% in support of external laboratory testing and program activities
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in technical writing, electrical testing, and/or data review, preferably supporting military or defense programs
- Experience with CDRL/SDRL management and preparation of data item submittals in accordance with contract requirements
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block diagrams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and validate test data for accuracy and compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with cross-functional teams
- Must be a U.S. Person, or eligible to obtain required export authorization in accordance with applicable regulations
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with naval platforms, shipboard systems, or maritime environments
- Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and data acquisition systems
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD tools
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer workstation for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day).
- Occasional walking through manufacturing areas, including exposure to moderate noise, machinery, and tools.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally (e.g., parts, technical documentation, or test equipment).
- Fine motor skills for handling small components and conducting detailed inspections or lab-based work.
- Visual acuity to read detailed schematics, datasheets, and conduct component-level reviews or inspections.
Compensation Information Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 USD (Annually) Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
