      X  Facebook  LinkedIn  Email  Copy  Job Description  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation. 
      
 Assist the Safety Compliance Manager to ensure employee compliance of local, state, and federal safety regulations Track driver credentials (license, hazmat/tanker endorsements, medical cards, etc.) and update/upload all documents into multiple systems and or tracking spreadsheetsAssist in New Hire safety orientation - including but not limited to, entering, and uploading information into multiple systems, preparing PPE packs, collecting paperwork, and assigning site specific trainingConduct various safety trainings as neededPerform respirator fit testing as neededTrack and maintain expiring documents on multiple spreadsheets and systemsMaintain compliant active and inactive employee files Assist in Driver Annual Review process, including running MVR'sMaintain the Driver Safety Performance Tracking spreadsheetsTrack and maintain all DOT required training records in accordance with FMCSRMaintain compliant DQ (driver qualification) files in a secure and confidential mannerAssist in managing company random drug and alcohol testing program, including performing DOT and Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol screeningsConduct periodic audits of all DQ (driver qualification) files and records to ensure compliance Always maintain strict confidentialityOrganize and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyMust be willing to work flexible hours during times of increased work activityOther related tasks as assigned by manager 
 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
      
 Minimum 2 years' experience working in a DOT compliance related positionStrong understanding of DOT and FMCSR compliance regulationsStrong understanding of HOS (hours of service) regulationsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels of the organization, external customers, and contractors.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to multi-task with a keen attention to detail
 Preferred: 
      
 Experience in the fuel and transportation industrySamsara or digital camera telematic systemsExperience with refinery requirements regarding Area Safety Council and DISA background checks and drug testing requirementKnowledgeable with ISNetworld and requirements
