Job Description

Lead a skilled team that helps build mission-critical components for the U.S. Navy and beyond. At Interstate Connecting Components (ICC) - a division of Heilind Mil-Aero - precision and teamwork drive everything we do. We're looking for a Production Supervisor (Second Shift) who's ready to take ownership of a talented assembly team and ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. If you've led a production, assembly, or manufacturing team - or you've supervised operations in a technical environment and know how to motivate people to hit goals - we'd love to meet you.


What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of production associates in a fast-paced assembly environment.
  • Plan and execute production schedules, balancing quality, output, and delivery deadlines.
  • Coach and train team members to ensure safety, consistency, and skill growth.
  • Monitor workflow and resolve issues that could impact production efficiency or quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless handoffs and on-time shipments.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards and all ICC quality policies.
  • Support interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.

Salary Range
$25-$27/hour (based on skills, experience and education)
Requirements
What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment. (Warehouse/logistics experience alone is not sufficient.)
  • Strong hands-on leadership skills - able to motivate, train, and hold teams accountable.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, process improvement, or similar initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; comfortable using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 or similar quality management standards (AS9100 a plus).
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual agreements with the U.S. Navy.


A college degree is preferred, but equivalent experience in leading production teams will be considered.



Physical Requirements


While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to communicate orally with management, peers, subordinates, employees, and contractors. Regular use of a variety of measuring tools, the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Standing or sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is important for conversations, to receive ordinary information.


Heavy lifting is not expected. Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally is required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, or measuring tools is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as inspecting manufactured parts (with and without magnification), preparing/analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings.



Working Requirements


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.


The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
