Vasion is looking for a Lead Web Designer who exemplifies our core values and wants to be part of our growing team. We are committed to making digital transformation attainable to everyone by building an affordable, integrated SaaS solution that simplifies business processes. Vasion offers a flexible working environment for our 300+ employees across the world, including at our global headquarters in St. George, Utah, or in one of our other offices in the UK, Germany, and Lehi, Utah.

If you share our passion for digital transformation and are ready to join us on this exciting mission, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer, Web who combines visual design excellence with a deep understanding of user experience. The ideal candidate is obsessed with understanding how users interact with our website and uses that insight to continuously improve user flow and drive conversions-particularly demo bookings, our primary success metric. You'll own the UX of our web presence, ensuring every page is accessible, mobile-optimized, and strategically designed to guide visitors toward action.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UX and visual design of our website, with a focus on optimizing user journeys that drive demo bookings and other key conversions.
  • Design mobile-first experiences that translate seamlessly across all devices and screen sizes.
  • Champion accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure our website is usable by everyone, regardless of ability.
  • Analyze user behavior through heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Plan and execute A/B tests and usability studies to validate design decisions and iterate based on real user data.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate user flows and interaction patterns.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to align design decisions with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Maintain and evolve our design system and Figma component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
  • Mentor a junior designer, providing guidance on both craft and UX thinking.
  • Stay current with UX best practices, accessibility guidelines, and emerging web design trends.

Requirements

    • 4+ years of experience in web design with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX-focused work, not just visual design.
    • Proven experience optimizing websites for conversion, with examples of how your design decisions impacted measurable outcomes.
    • Deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
    • Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and experience implementing accessible design patterns.
    • Proficiency in Figma, including design systems, component libraries, and prototyping.
    • Familiarity with analytics and user research tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Crazy Egg, or similar).
    • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS; ability to collaborate effectively with front-end developers on implementation.
    • Experience working with modern CMS platforms (e.g., StoryBlok, Contentful, WordPress) and designing within technical constraints
    • Experience with A/B testing and iterative, data-informed design processes.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
    • Experience in the SaaS or software industry is a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in Web Design, UX Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Portfolio must include at least one detailed case study demonstrating measurable business impact (conversion rate improvements, engagement metrics, etc.)

Benefits

    • Flexible work environment
    • Discretionary Vacation bonus
    • Flexible paid time off
    • Paid parental leave
