Student Worker - CMGT and SCVL Lab Assistant

Position Title: Lab Assistant / Student Worker

Department: SCVL

Approximate Hours per Week: 15-20

Wage: as determined by VP of Enrollment

Number of Openings: 1

Primary Duties:

1. Support faculty in Materials lab

2. Help keep Materials lab clean and organized

3. Manage inventory lists

4. Support students during lab times

5. Maintain surveying equipment

6. Support faculty at Open Houses (typically 1x per month)

7. Support classroom maintenance when needed

8. Make copies and file

Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with hand and power tools, or willingness to learn

2. Excellent communicator

3. Self starter, willing to work independently

4. Values safe working environment

5. Desire to work with peers and help them get comfortable with power tools

6. Student in any program on campus, but ideally SCVL, PMGT, ARCH, IDSN, CMGT, ELEC, ECDM
