The Senior Product Manager, Patient Marketing is a key member of the US Business Unit who will lead and execute all patient/caregiver promotional strategies and tactics for Torso including Optune Lua in NSCLC. The individual will work closely with a multitude of cross-functional partners including Commercial Insights, Digital Marketing, Patient Experience Team, Corporate Relations, Legal, Medical Affairs, Business Operations and Global partners to ensure full organizational alignment with the commercialization strategy for Torso and across the franchise. Seeking a candidate with ability for creative thinking who can provide fresh approaches to patient marketing, build an impactful & focused Torso patient brand plan and effectively execute tactics for market delivery. The level of the position will be based on the candidate's experience.

This is a full-time, exempt position located in our Chesterbrook, PA office, reporting to the Director of Thoracic Marketing. Flexible arrangements may be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Leads development of US patient marketing strategy, messaging and tactical execution plans to grow Optune treatments, tailored to US market
  • Leads and implements promotional tactics for the patient and caregiver audience
  • Works directly with patients and caregivers & external partners on formal compliance training, live/virtual external programming, internal programming and video/photo shoots
  • Gain customer insights by partnering with Market Insights to understand and uncover marketplace trends, segment specific drivers and barriers for patients
  • Manage agency partner relationships which includes oversight of content development that aligns to strategy and assets that are delivered on time and within budget (continuously evaluates brand performance to ensure cost-effective allocation of resources & monitors patient program partnerships (ambassador/mentor)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including cross-functional Product Team, Digital Marketing, Field Teams, Learning & Development, Market Research, Advocacy and Patient Experience
  • Applies creativity, innovation and out-of-the-box thinking in addressing opportunities and solving business issues
  • Partners with the digital marketing team to lead all patient-facing websites, paid media, social media, and DTC advertising including channel prioritization and budget allocation
  • Proactively evaluates the effectiveness of brand campaign, promotional programs & vendors through metrics to ensure positive return on investment and achievement of brand objectives, and evolve the patient marketing plan to raise the level of performance, ultimately finding ways to do more with less
  • Responsible for writing and adapting product information, FAQs, and key communications & assets for current patients on therapy as needed
  • Travel is a required component of this job. Candidates should be willing to travel up to 25% of the time (weekends, as needed)



QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:



  • Experience developing a strategy and an integrated plan to achieve and measure the impact of the pull through
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functionally and often in situations without direct authority
  • Exhibits a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy for the patient experience
  • Strong commercialization experience that has yielded an understanding of the activities, regulations, and processes required for successful patient marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional listening skills, strong presentation skills, and good negotiating and influencing skills
  • Operates quickly and decisively in a fast-paced, demanding, innovative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful in an entrepreneurial work environment, which includes ability to roll up sleeves and lead or contribute to a project in a direct capacity
  • A minimum of 3-5 years related work experience in healthcare industry marketing in either pharmaceuticals or medical device
  • 2 years of oncology, immunology and/or rare disease experience in patient marketing is preferred
  • Launch and in-line brand management experience highly desirable
  • Experience marketing in the US market preferred
  • Corporate marketing & launch experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced business degree such as an MBA desirable
  • A minimum of 3 years in Marketing working with healthcare professionals or patients
