Job Summary:The Director of Sales will be responsible for overseeing the P&L for Supermarket, Club, Walmart, Target, Convenience Stores, and Alt Channel Business in the USA, Canada and Mexico, with a target to achieve year-over-year growth in sales by developing and executing long-term strategies and business plans to drive growth, including managing the innovation pipeline and SKUs sold.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement a long-term strategy and business plan to grow the business, including the innovation pipeline and SKU management, with a focus on increasing market share annually.
  • Manage the P&L for the business, focusing on growth and profitability, while closing gaps between planned and actual results to achieve all business KPIs.
  • Lead and manage the SM sales team to ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Oversee external brokers and distributors, monitoring their performance and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage various distribution channels, including supermarkets, independent supermarkets, clubs, Walmart, Target, convenience stores, and alternative channels.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships to grow All-commodity volume (ACV) in line with KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Management and Head office on matters related to P&L responsibilities, ensuring full alignment and compliance with Nestle and geographical rules.
  • Part of Osem USA Management team, contributing to strategic decisions and implementing them within the designated geography.
  • Manage planograms and secure appointments for upcoming category reviews, developing and executing promotion calendars for stores and distributors.
  • Analyze sales data (Sell in & sell out) from distributors and stores while utilizing IRI data to monitor performance and continuously improve results.
  • Conduct meetings with the management team, CEO, CFO, and Head of Operations to discuss the current state of the business and areas of improvement.
  • Plan, execute, review and analyze promotions to maximize ROI of our TTS budget.
  • Review and support short-dated products sales in collaboration with the Operations team.
  • Work with the Marketing manager to align on marketing programs for existing items and the launch of new products in conjunction with the marketing plan and budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Certification in Sales Management or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience, min 8 years in Top-Line, P&L management and Sales within the food industry or related sectors,.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience of managing sales teams, Brokers and external partners.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, External and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Work Environment:This position will require travel (sometimes over the weekend) and involves working in a dynamic environment with a focus on collaboration and innovation.

The approximate pay range for this position is $150,000- $170,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
