Position Summary:

Nestle Health Science's Innovation team seeks a self-motivated Brand Marketer with expertise in developing CPG and consumer healthcare brands. This role is ideal for someone passionate about health, wellness, and nutrition, eager to enhance Nestle Health Science brands and improve lives. The Innovation Brand Marketing Manager will play a vital role in driving growth within a high-potential segment by leading the innovation strategy for key brands, identifying new opportunities, and aligning with channel and customer priorities. This position involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and execute innovation strategies from concept to commercialization, significantly impacting the organization's growth and market presence.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and commercialize 3-5 year innovation pipelines to drive incremental sales growth and meet financial objectives. Lead both short-term opportunity development and long-term strategic innovation planning across key brands, aligning with brand positioning and consumer demand
  • Analyze and identify new whitespace innovation opportunities and benefit spaces, collaborating with the R&D team to assess viability and develop product concepts that address unmet consumer needs and drive differentiation
  • Partner with Consumer Insights and Data Analytics teams to identify omnichannel trends and create actionable learning plans, from initial consumer understanding to new product concept development and opportunity sizing through consumer validation
  • Guide new products through the stage-gate approval process with the Project Management team, overseeing all aspects from concept to commercialization, including product design, packaging structure, and graphics
  • Collaborate with Medical, Regulatory, and Legal teams to develop differentiated product claims and supporting strategies
  • Work with Sales Strategy to establish pricing, distribution targets, volume projections, and compelling sales narratives, including presentation materials to secure retailer commitment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Brand Management and New Product Innovation, with a focus on building brands and driving business growth
  • Proven success in delivering consumer packaged goods innovation and developing 3-5 strategic innovation initiatives
  • Strong financial acumen and expertise in P&L management
  • Ability to analyze business and category trends to develop effective strategies and marketing programs that drive results
  • Deep understanding of consumer insights and positioning
  • Travel: 25-35%

The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000- $150,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
