Staffmark is seeking an experienced Production Maintenance Technician to join a leading manufacturing partner in Long Prairie, MN. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals with a background in food-grade or high-speed packaging environments.

Pay: $25-$35/hour (based on experience) plus a 2nd Shift Differential: 10%

Shifts Available:



  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday - Friday



Responsibilities:



  • Perform scheduled, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment using manuals, diagrams, and documentation
  • Ensure a safe work environment by identifying and eliminating hazards
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient maintenance areas
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled
  • Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards
  • Communicate effectively with other technicians to ensure smooth shift transitions
  • Protect company assets by addressing misuse or damage to machinery or facilities
  • Support production and quality systems as needed
  • Complete other duties as assigned



Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years of experience in a food-grade facility preferred
  • Experience with dry goods and high-speed packaging systems is a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in reading technical manuals and interpreting schematics
  • Strong math skills, including percentages, weights, and averages
  • Familiarity with HMIs, PLCs, and manufacturing control systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; PowerPoint and Access are a plus
