Job Description:
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager/ Scrum Master/ Defect Support with our client in the financial industry in their St. Paul, MN location. This is a 12 + month contract position. This role is 100% remote. Light travel may be required.
Compensation: $67.00 - $75.00 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level.
Summary
- PLANT Data Conversion - Task Manager (primary role)
- Work with the client's Data Conversion team to ensure tasks are being completed and driven to closure.
- Must ensure team is not taking on too much at any given point in time.
- Assist Data Conversion "pods" in detailing tasks that need to be completed and tracking those to done.
- That could mean stepping in to ensure communications have gone out on time or verifying a particular meeting has been scheduled.
- Ensure team has its ceremonies and are productive in identifying problems and working toward solutions.
- It may mean meeting with customers or our Client counterparts on occasion.
- Document meeting notes, requirements, and testing needs/cases as needed.
- Ensure those items make their way into the team backlog.
- Participate in conversion activities in a designated support role within the Conversion Command Center.
- Some travel required.
PLANT Data Conversion - Defect Analyst (secondary support role)
- Support the Data Conversion team to drive issues/defects to resolution.
- Meet with customers and our Client counterparts as needed to perform research and find a root cause and proposed remedy approach.
- Document meeting notes, requirements, and testing needs/cases related to the data conversion from Cornerstone to DNA.
- Help write stories to be logged in ADO along with the required acceptance criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating learning plans as needed to research and solve identified problems
- Generate and track tasks in our backlog
- Hold team accountable on driving work to done
- Partner with internal and external teams to define any needed solutions to address conversion issues
- Manage any administrative tasks like entering data into ticketing systems and periodically following up to ensure issues are moving toward closure.
- Assisting team on any ad hoc or one-off needs so they can stay focused on primary tasks
- Follow up with impacted customers to update them on progress or inform them of testing any applied solutions
- Actively manage team backlog
- Produce meeting notes from discovery interviews
- Participate in story discussions in internal team meetings as needed
- Research and capture requirements for User Stories and Tasks
- Write acceptance criteria as needed
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standup, demos, etc.)
- Sit as a proxy for the Lead when needed
- Meet with customers to fully understand the issue from their perspective
- Collaborate with internal DNA SMEs to vet issue and derive a plan to uncover the root cause
- Report up on progress of defect resolution
- QA test, as needed, in preparation of moving to customer validation
Key Experience(s)
- Prior work in a DNA implementation or Loan Servicing implementation
- Prior experience as a PM or SM
- Prior work managing defects, preferably in a DNA implementation or Loan Servicing Implementation
- Understanding of Agile (SCRUM) practices
- Story writing in Agile formats
- Previously participated in Data Conversion
- Previous work on Client products, specifically DNA (not required but a bonus)
Key Skill(s):
- Well organized, ability to stay focused to drive issues to completion
- Good List Maker, Attention to detail
- Good communicator, both written and verbal
- Driver - Get things to done
Key Technology /Certification(s):
- None Required
- CPM or CSM a plus
- ADO experience a plus
