Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in the Laboratory of High-Field Imaging and Translational Neuroscience, Division of Psychotic Disorders at McLean Hospital of Mass General Brigham.
The work will involve designing and conducting research studies, data collection and analyses, grant writing to assist in obtaining financial support for their work, writing manuscripts, and presenting the work at national/international meetings. The main of their research will cover multimodal neuroimaging, including pulse-sequence programming, protocol implementation and data collection at 3T and 7T Semen's MRI scanner, as well as 9.4T Bruker animal imaging scanner with translational imaging. Eventually the goal is to use the state-of-the-art multimodal neuroimaging techniques (fMRI, DTI, ASL, MRS and TMS) to outline the trajectories of biological development (brain's function, structure, and metabolism) in the lifespan of diseases and to identify biomarkers for the diseases' progression, treatment engaged targets and brain modulations in neuropsychiatric disorders. The candidate will also be expected to help train and mentor junior members and to work openly and in collaboration with the other interdisciplinary researchers within the Laboratories at McLean and Massachusetts General Hospital, Athinoula A.
