City/State Norfolk, VAWork Shift First (Days)Overview: Reporting directly to the System Senior Director of Risk, the Director, Administrative Risk is responsible for coordinating, facilitating and monitoring implementation of system-wide risk initiatives at Sentara Health. The Director, Administrative Risk performs data abstraction and analysis to identify actual and potential clinical risk impact across the healthcare system. Assesses, plans, implements, and assists in the monitoring of Clinical Risk Management activities to ensure positive risk mitigation and standardization of risk strategy. Works collaboratively with Quality, Patient Safety, and other leadership across the organization to improve the quality of care and services while preventing harm. This includes, but is not limited to, operational, clinical, strategic, financial, and workforce risks. The Director, Clinical Risk must be familiar with state and federal compliance regulations and standards. Education
