Key Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Coil Taper will include:

  • Promoting and adhering to all workplace safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Performing regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tooling, and designated work areas to support operational efficiency and safety.
  • Setting up and operating taping machinery with minimal supervision, demonstrating increasing competence and reliability.
  • Maintaining precise control over the taping process to ensure product quality, focusing on minimizing scrap and waste.
  • Recording and reporting operational data accurately, requiring proficient communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve issues promptly, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Working within established production schedules while meeting quality and efficiency standards.

These duties require a focus on accuracy, safety commitment, and effective communication to support the overall manufacturing process.

Qualifications/Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and requirements:



  • This is an entry-level position suited for individuals with up to 2 years of relevant experience, providing an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the manufacturing industry.
  • Basic understanding of blueprint reading to interpret manufacturing instructions accurately.
  • Physical capability to meet job demands, including frequent lifting of items weighing 11-25 lbs, occasional lifting of 21-50 lbs, and constant lifting of 1-10 lbs, along with the ability to stand for more than two-thirds of the shift.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including background checks, physical examinations, and drug screening.
  • Willingness and availability to work a 2nd shift schedule, with the flexibility to work overtime and weekends as operational needs dictate.


Strong candidates will exhibit reliability, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
