Position: Japanese Bilingual Sales and Marketing Representative
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid Remote)
Work Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Reports to: President
FLSA: Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire

Pay: $55K - 70K Base plus performance based bonus
Overview:
Our client, a rapidly growing international automotive parts company, is seeking a driven and creative Sales and Marketing Representative to join their team.
This role is primarily desk-based (about 90% from the office or home office) and focuses on driving business growth and building strong B2B customer relationships. The ideal candidate is someone who can think strategically, take initiative, and contribute innovative ideas to help the company expand its business.
You will manage order processing, respond to customer inquiries, and sales data using Excel, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service. Up to 10% travel is expected, with most meetings conducted virtually.
Candidates should be Japanese bilingual, highly motivated, and have a competitive drive to succeed in B2B sales, combining creativity, business acumen, and a results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
Promote automotive parts products to drive sales revenue with both new and existing clients.
Build and maintain strong business relationships through phone, email, and occasional in-person meetings.
Manage sales and order data using Excel, including creating spreadsheets, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate records.
Develop and create product brochures and sales materials to effectively present product features and services.
Conduct professional sales presentations and deliver impactful proposals to clients.
Provide quotes, negotiate pricing, and coordinate shipping schedules by communicating with internal departments and external vendors.
Maintain accurate records of customer orders and communications in the company database.
Research market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies.
Collaborate with the international headquarters and cross-functional teams to stay aligned with company goals.
Attend trade shows and industry events to expand the company's network and visibility.
Perform additional duties as needed to support the sales team and contribute to overall company success.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience required.
Japanese bilingual ability (conversational level or higher) required.
Experience working for a Japanese company or familiarity with Japanese culture required.
Willingness to travel domestically (up to 10%).
Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
Strong customer orientation, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
