CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Network Engineer to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

This role is responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and support of network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. This role helps ensure secure, scalable, and highly available connectivity solutions that support enterprise operations and strategic initiatives.

How you'll create opportunities in this Network Engineer role:

* Help design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and cloud networking.

* Assist with planning and executing network projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business requirements, security standards, and deadlines.

* Monitor and help optimize network performance, availability, and capacity across hybrid environments.

* Troubleshoot and resolve routine network issues, escalating complex problems as needed and contributing to root cause analysis efforts.

* Automate network configuration and management tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code principles.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments, cloud migrations, and infrastructure initiatives.

* Follow and help enforce network security best practices, including firewall rules, segmentation, and access control policies.

* Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and standards.

* Stay current with emerging networking technologies and trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

* Participate in the on-call rotation.

What you will need:

  • 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • 2 years of Azure Cloud experience
  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

Certifications / Licenses:

  • None required
  • CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent certifications preferred

Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledge of routing and switching, firewalls and security appliances, VPN, SD-WAN, load balancing, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and related services
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP), cloud-based telephony systems (Microsoft Teams), and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, NetFlow).
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
