Facility Specialist - Sealer Automation

The Sealer Automation Facility Specialist will:



  • Develop scopes of work and construction bid packages that directs contractors, engineers, and designers in development of Sealer Automation, Pur Foam and Spray-in Box Liner Systems
  • Drive engineering and design that reduce CapX and plant operating costs.
  • Consult with plant maintenance staff to solve difficult mechanical system problems using structured problem solving and engineering principles.
  • Manage engineering and construction efforts, documenting all issues, action plans and agreements in writing using Stellantis action register documentation.
  • Develop, manage and implement construction schedules and budgets that meet program launch timing and financials
  • Manage the bulletin and field order process, documenting scope and changes throughout the construction process.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or high school diploma /GED and 5 years or more of applied experience in sealer automation and/or other automation applications
  • Understand and apply fluid mechanics and engineering principles for pumping and dispensing
  • Knowledgeable in robot electrical, mechanical, controls and kinematics
  • Experience with layout of equipment and configurations to meet Underbody Sealer or Interior Sealer applications


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Automotive Sealer Automation systems install, commissioning and production
  • Applied robotic and controls experience
  • Experience with PVC sealers, NVH Purfoam, ISDs/Mastic Regulation/Temperature control, Betacell and HFR Pur Foam, Sealer and Pur Foam Bulk delivery equipment
  • Exposure to Stellantis Production Way or former World Class Manufacturing
