  • Utility project on electricity and natural gas - contract analysis on volume coverage (too much coverage or too little, and cost impacts), recommendations for future contracts and cost/benefit estimate of proposed changes

  • Dairy powders project - get spot pricing on dairy powders and determine if there would be savings to purchase ahead in any markets

  • Make vs. Buy analysis on dairy ingredients

  • Freight analysis (load size, frequency) on dairy ingredients - can we optimize load size, frequency for high volume lanes to determine freight savings (example, plant normally orders 17 totes per load, but we can fit 18 on a truck)

  • Utility project for powders plants - determine if milk volumes versus natural gas consumption correlate enough for natural gas forecasts, should we factor in weather, or if there is a correlation to certain finished good production (dryer usage)
