Purpose of the Job:


**Please note this is a hybrid 6-9 month assignment based in NYC.


We're looking for a highly motivated Retail Marketing Manager. You will be crucial in shaping the brand presence and driving customer engagement within our clients physical retail stores.


You will be the primary owner of several key pillars that drive store traffic and customer experience: managing paid media performance, executing compelling in-store programming, and overseeing our global branded merchandise program. This role requires a blend of strategic marketing expertise, sharp execution, and cross-functional leadership to ensure all efforts align with core business strategies and maximize ROI.


The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented professional with proven experience in retail marketing who can manage complex projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Performance Marketing: Execute and optimize global paid media campaigns across various channels, with a deep understanding of paid media tactics to drive traffic and sales.
  • Hyperlocal & In-Store Programming: Support the execution of impactful in-store events and hyperlocal campaigns, from workshops to product launches, to build brand awareness and community engagement.
  • Branded Merchandise Program: Provide strong program management for our global branded merchandise initiatives, from implementation to execution, ensuring alignment with brand goals and contributing to sales growth.
  • Digital Asset Management: Manage and maintain all digital content for our retail stores, ensuring internal and external web assets (including photography and copy) are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with our brand guidelines. This includes working with community, mall, and landlord sites.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our internal Marketing and Store Operations teams, as well as external agencies, to align all marketing efforts with core business strategies.



Knowledge, Skills + Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of experience in retail marketing, channel marketing, or client-facing roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional program management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous and deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with performance marketing and paid media tactics.
  • Demonstrated thought-leadership and strong relationship management with senior stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Experience managing digital assets and content for internal and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.



For New York applicants: The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $165,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.


The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
