What to Expect

As part of the Workplace Transportation team, theSr. Transportation Program and Operations Managerwill manage, market, provide strategic direction, and oversight of the Tesla's Transportation programs and services. Including but not limited to valet, parking, shuttles, commuter benefits, and more. TheSr. Transportation Program and Operations Managerwill join the dynamic Workplace team and support environmental sustainability initiatives by expanding the alternate mode use through outreach, education, and continued growth of transportation programs.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and manage comprehensive program/project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, that align with organizational goals
  • Manage the full lifecycle of large, complex, high-impact programs from initiation to successful completion, including commuter shuttles, vanpool, carpool, bike-to-work and public transit incentives
  • Implement processes for gathering participation data and analyze/report data for all Transportation teams from valet to parking, to shuttles, to programs, etc. to support decision making
  • Recommend and support development of internal transportation policies, procedures, and programs
  • Perform strategic analysis to improve and optimize overall system efficiency
  • Proactively identify and mitigate program risks and issues, developing effective solutions and mitigation strategies
  • Evaluate new vendor services as needed for improving service offerings, delivery excellence, and cost effectiveness

What You'll Bring
  • Master's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Transportation Operations, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • 8 years in transportation program management or other corporate employee services program
  • Knowledge of the regional transportation network, agencies and policies and prior experience in transportation planning
  • Experienced project manager andstrategic thinker with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service and engagement of multiple stakeholders to lead cross functional projects
  • Advanced computer skills, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, basic Web page management, internal software tools, Adobe Creative Suite

    Expected Compensation
    $68,000 - $150,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
