We're looking for a Materials Flow Coordinator to join our team and become a critical link in our manufacturing process. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of materials from our inventory to the production lines, supporting the timely delivery of our products.

This position is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives on problem-solving and can adapt to a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage Material Flow: Monitor and respond to signals (physical cards, system alerts, and other triggers) to ensure materials and work-in-progress (WIP) are picked and delivered to support production schedules.
  • Coordinate and Communicate: Release work orders promptly and perform the necessary system transactions to maintain accurate inventory records. Proactively communicate with the team and leadership when issues arise that could affect on-time delivery.
  • Maintain Organization: Keep the material staging areas clean, organized, and efficient.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate a variety of equipment relevant to the materials handling process within your assigned area.
  • Drive Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities to enhance material flow processes and overall efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and business software, including ERP systems like JD Edwards, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of production processes, inventory management, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • APICS certification is a plus!
  • Key Characteristics: You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure. You should be a strong communicator, a team player, and adaptable to changing business needs.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$17.20 - $31.90 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
