WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Analyze spend across categories and perform detailed supply market analyses.
- Partner with Project Leads and Managers to enable material cost-reduction initiatives.
- Develop and implement supplier identification strategies and cost-comparison methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to standardized sourcing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Optimize supply management software and systems to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related degree.
- 1+ years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Procurement, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in cost reduction initiatives, supplier negotiations, and market analysis.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and operations teams to support sourcing strategies.
- Skilled in using logic and structured reasoning to identify root causes, evaluate options, and implement solutions.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Familiarity with JDE, MRP/ERP systems, Sievo, Enovia, and Esker preferred.
- Experience documenting and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $62,900.00 - $116,900.00
