We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented IT Deployment & Support Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and support of end-user hardware and software, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and ongoing technical support for employees. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, customer-focused, and eager to grow in a collaborative IT environment. Key Responsibilities * Build, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops for new hires, transfers, and special projects. * Perform hardware upgrades such as memory and hard drive installations. * Coordinate with system administrators to ensure proper user account setup and access to corporate applications and network resources. * Deliver and install hardware for end users, ensuring proper configuration and user satisfaction. * Manage requisitions for new equipment and assess user needs for hardware/software. * Maintain accurate records in ticketing and asset management systems (e.g., Remedy, Asset Center). * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and user access. * Retrieve and back up user data from existing systems as needed. * Report build errors and contribute to documentation for build processes and procedures. * Lift and transport IT equipment including desktops, laptops, monitors, and printers. * Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional, client-facing demeanor. Required Skills & Experience: * Solid foundational knowledge of IT hardware and software support. * Experience with imaging and deploying Windows-based systems. * Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Remedy or similar platforms. * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common desktop and laptop issues. * Understanding of user account provisioning and access management. * Comfortable lifting and moving IT equipment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
