Position Overview The Loan Processor plays a critical role in the mortgage lifecycle by managing loan files from origination through closing. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with various loan types including conventional, FHA, VA, and paper loans. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Encompass and committed to delivering a smooth and timely loan process while maintaining compliance and superior customer service. Essential Job Functions Manage a pipeline of approximately 20+ loan files per month Process conventional, FHA, VA, and paper loans with accuracy and efficiency Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Loan Officers Ensure all documentation is collected, verified, and submitted in accordance with company and investor guidelines Perform daily pipeline management including: Pulling reports Updating dashboards Proactive follow-ups with borrowers, loan officers, and agents Coordinate internal operations to ensure timely loan closings Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations Protect sensitive consumer information Fulfill Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and meet performance metrics Participate in pre-funding bonus programs based on quality and timeliness Additional duties as assigned Requirements Minimum 2 years of loan processing experience Proficiency in Encompass LOS (Loan Origination System) Strong knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines including FHA, VA, and conventional loans Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent mortgage experience Typing speed of 40 WPM minimum Must pass credit and checks Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills & Attributes Experience with paper loan processing Bilingual or multilingual abilities a plus Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude Strong multitasking and organizational skills High reliability and accountability Self-motivated and productive Excellent attendance record *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
