Meet the Team

Government Security Services (GSS) is looking for a Data Center Engineer to work in several secure environments to build, deploy, and support mission crucial networks. This candidate must have a TS/SCI. The successful candidate will work closely with a team supporting our government customers by delivering innovative and compliant technical solutions tailored to their critically important needs.


Your Impact

The Data Center Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable solutions in government environments. This role involves providing day-to-day customer service to end users within the facility and ensuring flawless network operations. The individual will serve as the primary engineering resource for a customer base of 20-30 users, addressing their technical needs and ensuring efficient network performance.


  • Experience working on contracts mandating DIACAP, NISPOM and ICD requirements
  • Proficient in configuring, deploying and troubleshooting network functions within a secure environment
  • Teamwork: Be the bridge between the end users and the Government customer support system.
Minimum Qualifications
  • DoD 8570 level III certification or DoD 8140 equivalent
  • Experienced in Linux and Windows systems and how they interact in the compute environment on the network.
  • Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Experience with VMWare's vSphere virtualization suite

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with Centralized Logging Products (Splunk, etc.).
  • Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
  • Experienced in Linux and Windows systems and how they interact in the compute environment on the network.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning and network redundancy strategies
