Krispy Kreme's Plant Operator I is responsible for the operation of any assigned area of the Mix Plant operation, which may include bagging, dump stations, bulk room, etc.

A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Coordinate with previous shift to ensure efficient operation
• Ensure that all areas of responsibility are in proper running order
• Perform routine maintenance on Krispy Kreme equipment
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area
• Maintain sanitation of all areas of responsibility
• Ensure quality control standards are adhered to in accordance with Krispy Kreme policies.
• Ensure that all ingredients are added properly in all areas and processes run according to Krispy Kreme standards
• Maintain bins to ensure continuous batch processing
• Maintain batching records for production reporting
• Obtain samples from bulk truck and rail cars for lab analysis
• Connecting hoses to correct bins or tank for unloading
• Assist with rail car / bulk truck unloading as necessary
• Set up computerized bagging equipment and calibrate scales
• Prepare samples of each batch produced and label accordingly
• Assure that correct bar codes and labels are being used on finished product
• Prepare bags as manually needed
• Ensure palletizer is in proper working order
• Run sugar grinding and bagging equipment
• Incorporate safety policies and procedures into the daily routine
• Adhere to specific Krispy Kreme and general safety requirements in the workplace
• Other duties as assigned

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

• 0+ years of experience
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Forklift operation experience and certification
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
