About the role:
The Patient Services Implementation Lead provides strategic and operational leadership to the US Rare Patient Support Program (ONWARD) team. This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating tactics from inception to execution and bridges marketing, technology, program operations, training, etc.
Who you'll work with:
Partners with colleagues within the PSP team and across the cross-functional team:
- This role will interact with Patient Experience, Operations, and Engagement teams within the ONWARD patient support program. Additionally, this role is expected to interact with commercial, medical, market access, and learning and development teams.
What you'll do:
- Foster Strategic Collaboration:
- Cultivates a highly collaborative environment by partnering with Patient Support Program teams and cross-functional stakeholders. Ensures alignment and transparency across all project phases through structured communication channels.
- Drive Tactical Execution and Continuous Improvement:
- Oversees the implementation of project tactics with a focus on long-term sustainability. Continuously evaluates performance and identifies opportunities for optimization by enhancing governance models, communication frameworks, and cross-functional forums.
- Lead Integrated Planning and Resource Management:
- Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinates resource allocation and integrates dependencies across related initiatives to ensure timely delivery of milestones and strategic objectives.
- Champion Change and Team Alignment:
- Leads change management efforts by inspiring teams toward shared goals. Facilitates alignment through clear vision-setting, stakeholder buy-in, and proactive conflict resolution.
- Mitigate Risks and Resolve Issues Proactively:
- Anticipates potential risks and operational challenges. Implements mitigation strategies and contingency plans to safeguard project integrity and ensure continuity.
- Establish Governance and Execution Excellence:
- Designs and deploys fit-for-purpose governance structures and project management methodologies. Promotes accountability, decision-making clarity, and performance tracking to drive project success.

Basic Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech experience
Preferred Requirements:
- MBA preferred
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or other project management certifications preferred
- launch experience preferred
- Understanding project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
- Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
- Prior experience working with key internal stakeholders including marketing, legal, market access, privacy, and compliance
- Works well under pressure, is able to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proactivity through planning, scheduling, and resourcing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience working with Manufacturer-Sponsored Patient Support Programs preferred
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills - ability to influence across the internal matrix to drive change and gain stakeholder support
- Strong risks, issues, and opportunity management
*This position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $124,000-$162,800 annually. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other
