Senior Systems Analyst
Contingent upon prime contractor approval
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Senior Systems Analyst in Huntsville, AL
- In this role you will get to provide engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Production team. You will be focused on requirements definition, elaboration and verification in support of Missile Defense framework and Core Truth Model (CTM) software development to include software containerization development. Your work will involve interaction between the Government and Prime Contractors in support of MDA's M&S and integration and test programs and you may be asked to analyze the integration of systems engineering processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness of this work, as well as to analyze the integration of systems engineering processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness of this work.
Job Description:
- Develop and review Framework, RepBox and CTM requirements and diagrams
- Develop and review Framework and Missile Defense System Interface Control Documents
- Lead and facilitate technical discussions and collaboration activities with both internal and external stakeholders to include Prime Contractors and the Missile Defense elements
- Actively participate in Framework, RepBox and CTM Program Increment Planning activities
- Develop and review verification and validation plan for CTM development and coordination with the accrediting organization
- Draft and review technical documents, briefings, white papers, etc
- Play a role in overall functional strategic planning of Framework, RepBox and CTM System Engineering processes within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Must have a MA/MS degree and 12+years of relevant experience or a BA/BS degree and 20+ years of relevant experience
- Must have experience in model and simulation development
- Must have experience in Agile and Lean software development principles
- Must have experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Leaning (ML) concepts and applications
- Must have experience in software containerization development concepts and applications
- Must have experience in model and simulation requirements development
- Must have experience in model and simulation verification and validation
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Infrared (IR) signature models preferred.
- Experience with environmental models and environmental states and effects preferred.
- Experience with missile defense system and/or threat system simulation and model testing processes preferred.
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) preferred.
- Experience with DoD and/or MDA acquisition and systems engineering preferred.
Security Requirements:
- Must have an Active DoW Secret Security clearance
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal Travel; 10% or less
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
