OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. We are seeking a highly qualified Account Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for an energetic, creative, and strategically minded sales professional ready to excel in the competitive Philadelphia media landscape. As an Account Executive, you will serve as a strategic media consultant, responsible for generating significant revenue by leveraging the full power of the FOX 29 ecosystem.

  • Premium Sports Programming: NFL on FOX, Philadelphia Eagles, the MLB World Series, and the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
  • Top-Rated Local News Programming: Good Day Philadelphia.
  • National Reach: Tap into the power of the FOX Network and FOX Sports.
  • Cutting-Edge Digital: Provide advanced solutions through Connected TV (CTV)/OTT and impactful digital content integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategic Revenue Growth: Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across multiple platforms (linear TV, streaming, digital, CTV/OTT and content sponsorships).
  • Be a Solutions Architect: Work creatively with clients to craft customized, multi-platform advertising solutions that meet their specific business goals, combining our powerful assets (Local News, Network programming, Sports, Digital/OTT).
  • Exceed Sales Targets: Strategically negotiate renewals, grow incremental spending from existing market accounts, and maintain a consistently high closing ratio.
  • Market Analysis & Forecasting: Utilize research and data to understand market trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs. Accurately complete essential administrative tasks, including weekly sales forecasts and credit/collection of accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Track Record: A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable success in media or advertising sales, preferably in Linear TV and/or CTV/OTT
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically to create customized client solutions.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills-you must be comfortable pitching complex ideas to decision-makers.
  • Self-Starter Mentality: High energy, passion, and a positive, driven attitude required to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced sales environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Familiarity with media-related software and research tools (e.g., WideOrbit, Nielsen, Comscore) is a significant plus.
  • A four-year college degree is preferred.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $50,000.00-60,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for a sales incentive/commission compensation plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
