* Implement and champion software development engineering best practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
* Ensure the seamless integration of new systems and projects by collaborating with development teams and adhering to established production standards.
* Contribute to a comprehensive knowledge repository, documenting support activities and solutions to foster shared learning and accessibility.
* Fulfill requests for data and manage activities requiring access to production systems, ensuring security and compliance.
* Write comprehensive automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests to guarantee the reliability and quality of data interfaces and pipelines. **Must-Have Qualifications:** * 3+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on data products and integration.
* 3+ years of experience and deep knowledge in data integration design patterns.
* 3+ years of experience implementing software development engineering best practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, Scrum, and Kanban.
* Minimum 2+ years of hands-on coding experience in Java, including building REST-based APIs.
* Minimum 2+ years of experience utilizing messaging and streaming technologies.
* Minimum 2+ years of experience with modern development tools, including CI/CD platforms, version control systems, and project management software.
* Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience leveraging frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Batch to construct data integration pipelines.
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in writing automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests for data interfaces and pipelines. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Experience with enterprise scheduling tools.
* Familiarity with a diverse set of development and deployment tools.
* Experience with NoSQL databases.
* Experience with leading cloud technologies.
* Prior experience within the financial services industry.
* A passion for continuous learning and quickly adapting to new technologies.
