Job Summary: PCG is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Specialist for its' corporate operations based in Lenexa, KS. This position is responsible for the following duties:



  • Administration and communication of corporate sponsored employee benefit programs.
  • Advise and counsel employees on benefit related issues in accordance with corporate policy.
  • Communicate with the health care plan insurance administrator to ensure employees' concerns/complaints are resolved in a timely and equitable manner within guidelines of the plans.
  • Participate in the ongoing administration of the ESOP/401(k) Plan and the self-funded Health Insurance Programs, including administration of the payroll deduction process, and remittance of contributions and premiums on a timely basis.
  • Manage benefits documentation by assembling benefit packets, filing benefits paperwork, creating new employee files, terminating former employees from benefits, COBRA administration and Tracking, and FMLA/disability programs tracking.
  • Ensure that offered health plans continuously meet compliance requirements provided by the Affordable Care Act
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and industry trends.
  • Assist management in identifying opportunities and continual improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:



  • 4-year degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in administration of Self-Funded health insurance programs preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in administration of 401(k) plans preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Affordable Health Care Act employer mandate requirements preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access).
  • Must be comfortable with creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets and electronic files, including the ability to create complex formulas and pivot tables.
  • Self-motivated, improvement-focused, and customer-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrable adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices and functions.
  • Absolute discretion in dealing with highly confidential information.
