The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Virginia is currently seeking a Computer Engineer to join the Arts and Sciences Computing Services team. This position provides technical computing support for faculty and staff in the Department of Environmental Sciences and the Coastal Research Center within the College. The Computer Engineer position primarily supports Macs and Windows computers. Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related discipline Experience: At least one year of experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred Qualifications
Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. A valid drivers license is required for this position. Salary Range : The anticipated hiring range is $70,000-$90,000, commensurate with education and experience.
